Black Tie Entertainment - DJ, Photo Booth, Uplighting, Video

My fiance and I got married on New Years Eve and Bill was the DJ at the reception. He was fabulous!! He sat down with us before the wedding and went over all the options and got a feeling for what we wanted...and what we did not! He worked with us and accomodated our special music requests. He was very prompt in getting back to us and a true pleasure to work with. The night of our wedding he kept everyone on the dance floor ALL night. We also rented the photo booth which was a huge hit!! A week later people are still talking about it and the pics they got to take home! I would recommend Black Tie Entertainment to anyone! And also the photo booth!!

Excellent service , very professional , very friendly and was able to get all the songs I wanted even the arabic songs that i wanted they were able to download them from youtube for us . Great to work with . Highly recomended ;-))) I would get them again for my events. Very reasonable and affordable...

My husband is very particular about his tastes in music and found Black Tie Entertainment great to work with. They let us come up with our own play list of music from our ceremony to our cocktail time to our dinner reception and to our dance music. They sat down with my husband, reviewed his list, made helpful suggestions and accommodated our tastes. They were good about communicating with us through out the whole process. They have a very extensive music selection. For the rare song we needed that they didn't have they were easy to work with about getting the music to them for our ceremony. The best part was that they worked with you in terms of your style. My husband and I are not big on wedding games and some other traditional elements and they made sure to do everything to make sure to stick to our wants while keeping their fun, playful style.

Our wedding reception was outstanding due to, in great part, Bill and Black Tie. Our dance room looked great with the uplighting. The lighting effects made the room look awesome. We were very appreciative of Black Tie in taking the to set them up. The monogram was perfect and really classed up the room as well. Now for the photo booth...just about every single person at the wedding was absolutely amazed at the fact we had a photo booth. It was the biggest hit of the night behind the food and drinks of course. We had a blast with it. We will be sure to recommend your company to other couples looking for a professional and accommodating company in your line of business. Thank you again Bill!

Bill was wonderful to work with and a great addition to our wedding. We had the photo booth which was a HUGE hit- I think it is a MUST!! The uplighting was also beautiful.....We were extremely impressed with his professionalism and how he honored all of our requests. GREAT DJ- CHOOSE BLACK TIE!!

I can not rave more about Black Tie Entertainment and Bill! Bill was very prompt and knowledgeable from the beginning. We chose Black Tie specifically because Bill was outgoing and personable. We also got up-lighting and a monogram through them. The monogram and lighting made my wedding. It was GORGEOUS! Bill provided the music for the ceremony as well and it was perfect. Going on to the reception he was amazing, I told him what I wanted and he defiantly delivered. Very sweet and professional person, he genuinely cares about his clients, I would recommend this company to anyone! If there is one thing you should spend money on it’s your DJ and Black Tie is worth every penny. Thanks again Bill!!

THE BEST. Bill is a total sweetheart. We knew certain things we wanted when we were first meeting with Bill that are a little "untraditional" in upstate NY. Bill got what we were saying immediately. When we got closer to the wedding, we had some different ideas for the introductions and a slideshow. What's great about Bill is he listens to your idea, then tells you he can do it, tells you from his own experience what might need to be adjusted (you won't realize it because you just think you have a fab idea) and then makes it all work seamlessly. The party was going all night long, we heard all the songs we wanted to hear and there were no lulls; something we were desperate to avoid. They are totally fab and I'd highly recommend!

Jim was our DJ with Black Tie Entertainment and he was outstanding! I had a specific list of music for our wedding reception and he accommodated to a tee, along with a few requests here and there. By the end of the night the dance floor was packed! I had guests complimenting our choice of DJ the entire night and our other vendors were inquiring the following week. I highly recommend!

Bill with Black Tie Entertainment was the DJ at our July 2011 wedding. He was awesome! He kept the party going all night - we even extended the reception an extra hour. Bill met with us twice before the wedding to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted. He gives you the opportunity to pick out songs that you want, as well as songs you definitely do not want. Bill is very professional, and a great guy to work with. He checked in with us a couple of times during the reception to make sure we were happy with how things were going. These guys were awesome. They met with us whenever we needed to meet with them. They were super down to earth. They did a great job with music at our ceremony and reception. We left a lot of the music up to them, and they did a perfect job with it! I would reccommend these guys!

Bill and Mike were great to work with. Mike was our DJ for the night and he was very enthusiastic, fun, and "got the party started," even after working the entire day before doing our wedding. Black Tie responded to any of my emails and concerns and were very helpful in organizing the bridal party and order of things. We incorporated Turkish music throughout our reception and Mike was very flexible and more than willing to step out of his comfort zone, listen to our wants and concerns, and make our day exactly what we had hoped for and more. They were very reasonably priced, especially for how much they are responsible for. Our guests all really enjoyed Mike and the music, almost as much as we did!

Our guests spent most of the night on the dance floor thanks to Steve. He had guests of all ages dancing, including our grandparents (which was a shock to my family!!). And the best part was that we only had to give him a few guidelines and he picked music that made everyone happy. He was able to get everyone up and moving without be loud and obnoxious and we had many compliments about BTE from our guests. They were wonderful to work with and exceeded our expectations.

I cannot rave enough about Bill from Black Tie Entertainment! He was a joy to work with from start to finish. He kept the dance floor packed with people who did not stop moving. Without hesitation, Bill is the man that you want to do your wedding!

Black Tie Entertainment (BTE) was fantastic. We recently got married at the Turning Casino and Resort and hired BTE as our DJ for both our ceremony (on the great lawn of the resort) and reception. Leading up to the wedding, BTE was very responsive. We had certain songs we wanted played at certain times and they worked with us before the wedding and had several excellent suggestions to improve on what we wanted. The music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was great. The timing for the ceremony songs was perfect and there was a perfect mix of dancing and dinner music at the reception. The few announcements and introductions that we had discussed were done very professionally. BTE also coordinated with the reception staff at the Turning Stone to make sure everything went smoothly -- the timing of the toasts, the cake cutting, etc. We, especially my now husband, is very into music and did not want the typical cookie cutter songs played. He was extremely pleased with the results and we got a lot of positive feedback from our guests about the music. Black Tie Entertainment made our wedding day all we hoped for and we highly recommend them.

Black Tie Entertainment knows how to throw a real party! Everyone was having a blast at our wedding - dance floor was packed the entire night. We gave them pretty free rein by just giving them a few genres we liked and to go with the mood of the night. People are still raving about how much fun they had and how great our DJ Mike was!

My husband & I just got married last weekend, and already multiple people have commented on how great our music was. And not just the dancing music, although it was fantastic, I have received compliments on the dinner music selections as well. Bill was so professional; he spoke with my husband & I a few times during the reception which was perfect. He did not question us endlessly, nor did he keep us out of the loop. He knew what to do about everything and I felt confident hiring him that all would be well. I was not disappointed! The whole evening flowed perfectly, from speeches to the blessing to a mike out on the floor while we sang along, and I had no worries about anything related to the transition from dinner to dancing or the music itself. Our DJ was great and very personable. He asked us what we wanted and allowed us plenty of opportunity to change things as the night went on. He followed all of our instructions and did an awesome job!
